MERRY Christmas card with Stampin' Up! Large Letters

Hi everyone,

Well, just when I think I've shown you all my Christmas projects, I find another one hiding that I haven't showcased yet. And this I think is one of my favourites of this year.
MERRY Christmas card using Large Letter dies

Large letter dies from Stampin' Up!

Once again it is a concertina card, although this time with a lot less panels. I have cut the letters from Gold/Silver Glimmer paper and used the Year of Cheer papers to mount them on. They were then mounted on Gold/Silver Foil card. The holly leaves were punched from Wild Wasabi card stock using the Holly Berry Builder punch and the berries from Real Red card stock using 1/8" circle handheld punch. The "Christmas" sentiment I used was from the Merry Mistletoe set - I had to mask off the "Wishes" at the bottom (see how in the video below) and then heat embossed it in either silver or gold.

Gold/Silver Foil - 5 x 5.5 cm x 8 cm
Year of Cheer DSP - 5 x 5 cm x 7.5 cm

In Imperial:
Whisper White - 211 ins x 3 1/2 ins scored at 2 3/4 ins, 5 1/2 ins,8 1/4 ins. And 3 1/4 ins x 3.1/2 ins scored on the 3 1/4 ins side at 1/2 in.
Gold/Silver Foil - 3 1/8 ins x 2 1/8 ins

Year of Cheer DSP - 2 7/8 ins x 1 7/8 ins

Now, that really must be the end of Christmas cards for me. Can't wait to get started on projects using all the new goodies from the Spring/Summer catalogue. Would you like to receive one FREE from me - just let me know and I'll pop it in the post!

Merry Mistletoe from Stampin' Up! again!

Hi everyone,

I'm still on my Merry Mistletoe marathon!! Today another simple but lovely little card.

Pretty little Christmas card featuring a stamped and heat embossed reindeer from Stampin' Up!'s Merry Mistletoe set

Back to using this lovely reindeer silhouette stamp. I have heat embossed the reindeer in gold, fussy cut around him and mounted him on dimensionals. I have again used our Whisper White note cards and made a background using the Year of Cheer Washi tape. The card is finished off with a few mini gold sequins.

Short and sweet today! Hope you like the card! Let me know in the comments.

Gift bag for mini Prosecco bottle with Stampin' Up! products

Phew - back to a project based blog post after all the excitement of letting you know about the Online Extravaganza. Today's project is this lovely gift bag, sized perfectly to fut a mini bottle of Prosecco and would make a perfect gift for Christmas for all those people that you just want to give a "little" something.

This bag is so simple to put together. We made this in one of my classes last week and even the ladies who had never crafted before were able to make it. I gave the ladies a choice of papers, either from the "Bundle of Love" set (as above) or the even more Christmassy "Year of Cheer" Speciality Designer Series papers (see below - LOVE these!).
Sadly I forgot to photograph the ladies with their projects, which were all different.

 Back soon,

Jill xx

Pansy punch card using Stampin' Up! Stampin' Blends

Hi everyone,

I'm back again today to show you how I made the card using the flowers that I showcased last time.

This is such a fun card to make and I love how it looks. And it gave me a chance to use my Pansy Punch, which I have to admit has hardly been used since I bought it a few months ago.

This is such a simple card to make but it has a real "wow!" factor - I for one would love to receive a card like this. I have used a greeting from "Big  on Birthdays" (love, love, LOVE that set!!), and the fairly new Leaf Punch to create my card.

The video showing you how to make this card can be found HERE.

Hope you liked this project. Come back soon - I have some more Christmas projects to share with you!
