Christmas in May - Throwback projects with retiring products

Hi everyone,

Thanks for dropping by to see me today. I've been sorting out my stash to remove products which will be retiring on 3rd June. As I was doing this, I realised that there are quite a lot of Christmas products which will be leaving us. So forgive me for this "Christmas in May" post, but I thought I would just take the chance to show you some of these throwback projects.

First off is this lovely die set - Pretty Pines:

And this is my favourite card made with this set.

Next is the Mistletoe Season stamp set

And then there are these dies - the Hometown Greetings Edgelits dies - I will be so sorry to say goodbye to these. I have made some of my favourite ever cards with these.

Next is Half Full. I bought this set for my oldest daughter. She works as a manager in a Majestic Wines store so wantedto be able to send appropriate cards to her friends. The first two cards are ones that she made!

And last, but definitely not least, is the Cookie Cutter kit and coordinating punch. This has been a best seller since it was first for sale. I love that the punch can punch out all 5 of the images in the stamp set.

The Project Share Project - Week 21

Hi everyone,

Welcome to another Thursday and the Project Share Project where I get to showcase projects made by some of my crafty friends. And let me introduce you to the team. From the left that's me, Verity, Gez, Heather and Helzie.
Once again, I have four fabulous projects from these wonderful ladies for you today.

And first up today is Heather of Stamps With Nellie. Heather made a pretty little box containing a set of notecards - so she gets two photos today - one for the box and one for the set of cards.

Next today we have Gez of Nigezza Creates. Gez has made this really pretty card using the "Wonderful Moments" stamp set. This would make a lovely wedding card or maybe a thank you for a bridesmaid. Gez has used the paper piecing technique for the dress which is so effective here.

Next today is Helzie of Slimm & Stylish. Helzie has used a new stamp set - "Believe You Can" - it will be available as a hostess set from 4th June.

And lastly for today is Verity of Inky Butterfly. I have been looking back through Verity's blog and stumbled across this lovely card from last year using the Tropical Chic stamp set which will be carrying over into the new catalogue.

Customer thank you gifts

Hi everyone,

Today I want to show you the handmade gifts I sent to all the customers who shopped with me in April.

Tic Tac box Petal Promenade Stampin Up

These were little book type boxes which each contain a pack of Tic Tacs. Here is the inside:

They are very simple to make - I was inspired by my team leader, Sam, aka Pootles. Click HERE to see the project I took my inspiration from.

Maybe you know that in order to say thank you for all the orders I receive, I love to send out thank you packages which contain a handmade thank you card (which I showed you on Sunday), a handmade gift (above) and if they have used my Monthly Shopping Code, a product gift. Some months, as in this month, I include another little treat. This month it was a sample pack of some of the new patterned papers coming in the new catalogue - Mosaic Mood. Here is the package I sent out earlier in May.

This month the Watercolor Pencils were the product gift I was able to send to everyone as we had another really good sales month. These gifts vary according to the value of the orders received - sometimes I send a pack of embellishments or some dimensionals. Other months it might be a stamp set or embossing folder. Or maybe something else....it is always a surprise!

Where else can you shop and then get a lovely surprise thank you package dropping through your letterbox?

I'd love to be sending out a thank you package to you next month - all you need to do is place an order and use my Monthly Shopping Code!
