Money/gift voucher wallet with Tropical Chic - Take 2

Hi everyone,

****I'm sorry if this post is giving you a feeling of deja vu but there seem to have been some errors with the previous one and apparently only a few people were able to view it. And the project is too nice not to be seen. So I am going to try again and repost!! Here is the original post in its entirety.*****

Hi everyone,

Today's project is a cute wallet for gifting money or gift vouchers. I have used the gorgeous Noble Peacock paper (or rather card - it is so thick!) to make my wallet.

Tropical Chic Stampin Up Money Wallet

I have to give credit to Julie Addison, one of my fellow Pootler tem members, who gave me a swap with a similar decorated belly band, ages ago which inspired today's make. And how gorgeous is that belly band decorated with leaves and flowers from Tropical Chic.

You could use this wallet for a pretty way to gift money, as you can see in the photo above.

Or of course you could use it to gift a gift voucher or gift card. Maybe you'd like to purchase one of my gift vouchers for a friend or yourself - in which case you will receive one of these lovely wallets free! Read all about how to purchase my gift vouchers and how to use them in my blogpost HERE

The dimensions for making the actual wallet can be found in my previous blog post HERE

The Project Share Project - August 15th

Hi everyone,

Welcome to another Thursday and the Project Share Project where I get to showcase projects made by some of my crafty friends.

Today I have chosen three wonderful projects for you, beginning with Verity of Inky Butterfly. I love this card which Verity has made - really appeals to my clean and simple style. And I love all the white.

Believe You Can Stampin Up

Verity has used a nifty trick to make her flowers. Hop over to Verity's blog to see how she made them by CLICKING HERE.

Next is Heather of Stamp with Nellie. Heather has been using the Lots of Happy kit to make alternative cards. And I love how she has used the little floral stamp from the kit to stamp the background in clear embossing.

Pop over to Heather's blog to see her other alternative cards by CLICKING HERE.

And last for today is my good friend Gez. Gez has made this card which is right up my street. Very clean and simple and with no stamping!

Well written Stampin Up

You can read all about Gez's project over on her blog HERE.

And there we are - yet another Project Share done. These weeks seem to come around quicker and quicker!  Do join me again next Thursday for more inspiration from these wonderful ladies!

Way Back Wednesday with Springtime Impressions

Hi everyone,

Hope you are all well today and that the sun is shining for you.
Yesterday while I was making my pop up card I began to remember other cards I have made in the past using that beautiful butterfly die. So I thought I'd just feature them today.

First of all there were these cards using the gorgeous, now  sadly retired, Garden Impressions papers.  Love how easy it was to choose two coordinating papers to use for these cards.

If you'd like to see how I made these cards, which could easily be replicated with current papers, you can watch my video by CLICKING HERE or on the image below.

And then there were these lovely simple little cards, inspired by Mary Fish, an American demo. I love the colours of these and the envelopes which have been decorated to coordinate.

Springtime Impressions Pop Up Butterfly Card

Oooh I have a fun card for you today. We made a card very similar to this one at one of our team training days awhile ago so I must give a shout out to Michelle Last for the original idea. It looks quite simple from the front.

But then you open up the left hand panel and as you do so, the butterfly will slide through the slot.

And as you open up the right hand panel, the butterfly slides through the slot again.

And here is the fully open card.

I used the gorgeous Perennial Essence DSP papers for my card and the butterfly die cut is from the Springtime Impressions die set.

It is easier to show you on a video how this card works and how to make it. You can watch my video by CLICKING HERE or on the image below.

Here are the photos of the card I made in the video in a different colourway, although still using the Perennial Essence DSP papers.
