Sincerely Santa Project Kit from Stampin Up!

Hi there,

Hope you are having a great weekend.

One of the great things about our catalogues is that there are always a great selection of kits which are a real help when time is of the essence or for beginner crafters - or even experienced crafters like me who just like to "play" sometimes.
My favourite kit in the Autumn Winter catalogue is the Sincerely Santa Project Kit.
The kit contains supplies to make 30 handmade gift tags - 6 each of 5 designs.

The photo below shows all the elements in the kit.

Whilst the kit includes all the elements for the tags, it does not include the stamp set needed to complete the tags. The set needed is Sincerely Santa, available in clear mount or wood mount. You will also need an ink pad or two.

Stampin' Up! have published a video showing the kit in more detail and giving hints and tips for putting the tags together. You can view it below.

I hope you've enjoyed that little peek at one of our project kits. There are lots more in both the Annual catalogue and the Autumn Winter catalogue - let me know if you'd like a "proper" copy or view the online version by clicking on the buttons to the right.

Back soon with more crafty fun!

Traditional colours Flourish Filigree Christmas card

Hi everyone,

How are you today? I am starting off the week with yet another Christmas card made with the Flourish Filigree stamp set. I have so enjoyed playing with this set - by the time you read this I will have given back to Gez but missing it already. Today's card is more or less the same design but in a very different colour scheme - a traditional red, green and gold combo.

Flourish Filigree from Stampin' Up!

For my card I have used Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green with gold foil, embossing powder and gold glimmer paper.

I think this photo picks out the lovely gold highlights a bit better.

And in a close up, you can see that I have added a couple of elements punched from our gold glimmer paper with the Sprig Punch.

I must admit I'm not a big fan of the card in this colour scheme but it is good to try these things!

Flourish Filigree Christmas card with Clear Embossing

Hi there everyone,

Today I am bringing you a variation on yesterday's card, using mostly the same products but switching the silver embossing powder for clear.

Flourish Filigree by Stampin' Up!

As you can see, I am using the same colour scheme of Highland Heather and Pool Party, but changing the colour of the embossing powder makes a very different card!

I think this photo shows off the oh so shiny embossing a bit better -

So which one do you prefer? Do leave me a comment to let me know if you have time. And don't forget there is a video tutorial showing how I made yesterday's card which you can see HERE.

Flourish Filigree Christmas card in Highland Heather and Pool Party

Hi everyone,

Here today with a Christmas card using a set I've not used before - Flourish Filigree. At the moment I have resisted buying this set and have borrowed it from my friend Gez (Nigezza Creates) but now that I've used it I'm feeling like it might just drop into my shopping trolley next time I place an order!! Here is my card:

Flourish Filigree from Stampin' Up!

And here is the stamp set:

I have used a colour scheme inspired by another fellow demo - Heidi of FlutterbyHeidi. The colours are Highland Heather and Pool Party.

I hope you can see the how beautiful the filigree stamp is when embossed in silver. Here it is in close up:

And for those of you who would like to make a similar card I have made a video tutorial - watch it HERE or by clicking on the image below.

Hope you enjoyed today's project. I'll be back tomorrow!
