Project Share Project

Hi everyone,

Are you ready for Christmas? I hope at least some of you are just like me - loads more to do - cards to write and send, presents to buy, food to sort, putting up the tree etc etc. Difficult to believe in two weeks time it'll be over!

Anyway, today is another occasion for me to show you some of the work of my fellow demos. I thought this week we would take a break from Christmas projects and so I have chosen three beautiful floral projects.

First up is Helzie whose blog is www.slimmandstylish.com.
Helzie has used the Stamparatus to create her wreath - isn't it lovely?

A Big Thank You

Next is Gez of www.nigezza.co.uk. Gez has created this fabulous monochrome card using the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and the Happy Birthday thinlits die.

And lastly is Verity of www.inkybutterfly.wordpress.com https://inkybutterfly.wordpress.com/

Verity has made this beautiful Card using the Floral Frames stamp set. So pretty.

Hi there,

While I had the Hometown Greetings dies out on my desk the other day I decided to make another card using them. And here is the result.

These dies are so easy to use to make lovely Christmas cards. And my "Merry Christmas" is from the "Half Full" stamp set.

Not sure if you can see from these photos that the windows etc are backed with gold foil. This photo shows it more clearly.

Stained glass effect coloured glitter with Serene Garden from Stampin' Up!

Hi everyone,

You may remember back in September I talked about a training weekend I had attended with other members of the Pootlers team. At these events we have so much fun and one of the highlights is crafting together. This time we were provided with inspiration and materials for 5 projects and this was one of them.

Stained glass effect coloured glitter with Serene Garden from Stampin' Up!

Can you believe it has taken til now for me to get round to finishing it! This was the project provided by our team leader Sam, who had been inspired in turn by Dawn Griffiths. I have changed the project quite a bit but have kept the essence which is the technique used on the birds. Have a closer look:

I am calling this "Stained glass effect coloured glitter" and in real life it is lovely. As you can see, I made it in several colourways. As well as showing off the technique, it also gives me a chance to show you just how well all our products coordinate - we have patterned paper, card stock, colouring with blends and ink - and they all match perfectly!
