Mini Album with Stampin' Up! products - video tutorial Part 1

Hi everyone,

Something a little bit different from me today. One of the Facebook groups I am a member of recently ran a challenge which involved making a Mini Album. This was well out of my comfort zone, but I am always up for a challenge (well, a crafting one anyway).

Stampin Up Mini Albums

These were the albums I made. I copied a design by my good friend Gez Carpenter, who is online under Nigezza Creates. To see Gez's original tutorial for this album just click HERE.

Although this was something very different for me, I had such fun making these and as always, all the coordinating products from Stampin' Up! made it such a breeze to put them together.

The first one I made was the pink one, using the Petal Promenade patterned papers - so pretty.

I decided to make my own tutorial to show you how I made the album. For the second one I decided to change the colours so used patterned paper from the Twinkle Twinkle pack.

You can see the tutorial by clicking HERE or on the image below.

And here are some close ups of the blue/green album:

Did you enjoy that project? As promised on the video, I'll be back tomorrow with Part 2, showing how I finished off the inside of the album.

Bye til then x

Springtime Impressions Butterfly card - great for beginners

Hi there,

Thanks for dropping by to see me today. Did you see my card yesterday?

Springtime Impressions by Stampin Up

This is the card I made on the video tutorial in Coastal Cabana - how fab is that colour? I love it! Missed it? Catch it HERE or by clicking on the image below:

And if you watched the video you will have glimpsed the cards I made in other colours - Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green and Melon Mambo.

Which one is your favourite? The reason I chose these colours is that they correspond with our pretty Glitter Enamel Dots which I have used on the butterfly bodies.

Aren't they so pretty?

And here are the cards in close up:

Coastal Cabana

I bet you can all lay bets on which one I love best? Yes, Coastal Cabana - always a "blue" girl, that's me! Hope you like them!

I almost forgot the measurements you'll need:

Our Notecards measure 12.7 cm x 8.9 cm. The coloured cardstock panel needs to measure 0.5 cm smaller so measures 12.2 cm x 8.4 cm and the Whisper White top panel is 0.5 cm smaller again so 11.7 cm x 7.9 cm. If you are working in inches the Notecards measure 5" x 3.5" - each panel needs to be 1/4" smaller so 4 3/4" x 3 1/4" for the coloured panel and 4 1/2" x 3" for the top white panel.
