Jill & Gez Go Crafting - May 10th

Hi everyone,

Welcome to another "Jill and Gez Go Crafting" when myself and my good friend Gez give each other a bit of exposure on our blogs.

Gez has an amazing blog with loads of fabulous inspiration and really detailed tutorials - just hop over to https://www.nigezza.co.uk/. And also a brilliant YouTube channel which you can view HERE

For the first of today's projects from Gez I have chosen the card she made for a blog hop with the theme of "Cheers" last weekend. Gez used two images from different stamp sets to create her champagne flute. Genius!

Pop over to Gez's blog to see she made her card by CLICKING HERE.

Next I have chosen these cards to showcase. Gez used the Meadow dies to create stencils which she then coloured with our Blending Brushes. Don't they look amazing?

You read all about this project by hopping over to Gez's blog HERE.

And finally for today, Gez has used a similar technique to create these vintage gift tags. If you haven't seen them, Gez makes some great junk journals and I think these tags will be added to one of them!

Read all about this project by CLICKING HERE to go to Gez's blog.

Hope you've enjoyed seeing Gez's projects today and that you'll pop over to see her fabulous blog. I'll be back with more from Gez in two weeks!

Live Crafting with Flowers of Friendship - Come Crafting with Jill & Gez

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog today. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Yesterday my good friend Gez and I did our regular monthly Live Crafting session over in our facebook group - Come Crafting with Jill & Gez. Do come on over and join us if you'd like to. Our theme for this month was "Anything New" and as we have just had a new catalogue release, there was a lot of choice. I chose to use Flowers of Friendship which is one of my current favourites. I had posted a #simplestamping version of my card earlier that day and decided to take the same image and show how you could use other coordinating products to step it up a bit.

I think Fresh Freesia is definitely my favourite new In Color - although it is a difficult choice as I love them all!

I wanted to colour my flower spray with Blends but unfortunately my order containing the new In Color Blends has not arrived yet. But I found that Purple Posy Blends were a very good substitute!

Before the live crafting, I made another version of my card using Polished Pink and once again found I could use alternative colours for the colouring - this time Light Lovely Lipstick (long since retired) and Light Melon Mambo.

Here are both cards together - now I can't wait to make another one in Pale Papaya!

Anyway, if you'd like to watch it, here is the video of the live crafting session, including all the chat, laughs and banter between Gez, me and the live viewers. Just CLICK HERE or on the image below.

Of course, as it was a Jill and Gez session, my live crafting was only half the session. Gez used her session to make this amazing calendar using the Days to Remember stamp set.

You'll need to watch Gez's video to find out one amazing discovery she made about the Days to remember stamp set. You can see it here:

I hope you've enjoyed seeing these projects. We would love it if you want to join us for our next live crafting session at 2 pm on Saturday 5th June.

Bye for now, back soon,

Stamping INKspirations May blog hop - Floral

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog today. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Today I am tking part in the Stamping Inkspirations blog hop and our theme for this month is "Floral" - could have been made just for me!

For my card I used a lovely new stamp set which has only been available to buy for a few days. It is called Flowers of Friendship and has a matching punch which I've also used today.

I stamped the flowers on three different colours of card - three of the new In Colors: Pale Papaya, Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia. I used the coordinating inks to stamp each of the flowers and then punched them out with the punch. And then did the same with some leaves on Soft Succulent. I arranged the flowers down the left side of the card using dimensionals on some. The sentiment is from the Vine Design stamp set and I used the Double Oval punch to mount it.

A scattering of coordinating jewels and I was done. Hope you like my card.

Now it is time for you to continue your journey through our hop. So many amazing Floral projects to inspire you. Next up is Melissa Faust.

And here is the complete blog roll in case you want to go off piste!!
