Sale-a-bration Pootlers Blog Hop - Delicate Details

Hello everyone,

I'm back again today to take part in the second of the Pootlers team blog hops this month. This time our theme is "Sale-a-bration" which means we are showcasing the products from the Sale-a-bration leaflet and which can be earned absolutely free with every order of £45. If you need top know more about this, just get in touch.  The links to the other projects are near the bottom of this blog, please take a look as there are some fantastic ideas from everyone.

The minute I saw the products available I knew that the "Delicate Details" stamp set would become my favourite. And its made even better by the fact that I earned it absolutely free - and you could too!

I can't tell you how much I love all those lacy stamps - so pretty and delicate and ideal for a romantic wedding card, as in my first sample:

Loving that combination of Pink Pirouette and Sahara Sand. For my next sample I reversed the colour scheme and rotated the card:

I would love to know what you think of my cards! Here they are both together.

This blog hop is slightly different to the traditional ones - just click on the links below to go to the next blog - some lovely projects for you to see from our talented team.

Birthday Bright Project Kit

On page 13 of the new Spring/Summer catalogue you will find the "Birthday Bright" project kit being featured. This kit, together with the co-ordinating "Birthday Bright" stamp set contains enough supplies to make 12 great cards, all with either 3-D or shaker elements, AND 12 tags, again with 3-D elements.

Not only that, but the kit comes in a gorgeous storage box which you can use as a storage box to store your cards and tags when you've made them.

I've not had time to play with my kit yet but here is a video from Stampin' Up showcasing the kit:

Doesn't that look like fun? Sadly, I have to be quite disciplined and complete my tax return before I can open my box :(

Don't forget that the Sale-a-bration event is still running - a purchase of the Birthday Bright kit and the co-ordinating stamp set, plus any other item from either catalogue (eg. Dazzling Details £2.25) would qualify you to choose a free item from the Sale-a-bration leaflet - what are you waiting for? Just click on the links below to shop online or send me an email.

And if you still haven't seen the new catalogue "in the flesh" just get in touch and I'll be happy to send you one, completely free of charge!

Back soon,

Cool Treats Suite

Just taking the chance today to showcase one of my favourite suites of products from the new Spring Summer catalogue - the Cool Treats Suite. Just look at all these lovely samples that appear in the catalogue.

You can find the suite on page 32 and 33 of the catalogue and as usual, Stampin' Up have come up trumps in designing a collection of crafting goodies which co-ordinate together perfectly and make your papercrafting so much easier and more fun. The suite is based on co-ordinating sets of dies and stamps featuring ice creams, lollies and some lovely sentiments.

But just look at all the other products which make this suite a must have:

Washi tape
Patterned papers
and Sprinkles.
All the products feature a mouthwatering combination of colours: Pear Pizzazz, Peekaboo Peach, Pool Party, Watermelon Wonder, Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake and Whisper White.
If you buy all the products above, plus stamp pads in 4 colours you would also qualify for two free products from the Sale=a-bration leaflet. So what are you waitying for. Just click on the products below or on the Shop Now button at the top of the page. Or if you'd like a more personal service just email or phone me. I'd be delighted to help!

Pootler's Team Blog Hop - Big on Birthdays

Oooh! How exciting is this - participating in my first ever blog hop. I am a member of a fabulous team of Stampin' Up demos and our team is running this blog hop to celebrate the new Spring Summer catalogue which launched on 4th January. All projects in the hop will feature products from the new catalogue and for my post I chose to feature the stamp set "Big on Birthdays".

There are loads of lovely messages in this set but I used just one of them for my projects today.

This is my first sample:

I'm not sure if you see in the photos but the sentiment is embossed in silver making it really pretty in real life. I love the combination of pink pirouette, whisper white and silver - a very delicate, girly card.

I decided to see whether I could make the same design in a colourway more appropriate for a man - I always find it difficult to think of ideas for men and it is my nephew's 27th birthday next week! This was the result:

That combination of very vanilla, basic black and gold changes the whole feel of the card - much more masculine.

Anyone who has followed my blog for a while will have realised by now that my style is always very clean and simple. For me, less is always more and this card design is no exception. However, I did wonder if I could step it up a little and this is the result:

I'm still not sure whether the balloon improves it or not. What do you think?

So here are all three cards together.

I would love to know what you think and which one is your favourite - comment below to let me know!

Don't forget that to order any of the products used, just click on the links below or click on the shop now button at the top of this page. I would love to add you to my expanding customer base. And right now is a great time to buy Stampin' Up products as the Sale-a-bration promotion means that for every spend of £45 you can choose a free product from the special leaflet. All this, plus an extra gift will come to you in the post next week if you use my January Shopping Code

And just let me know if you would like to receive a free copy of the Spring Summer catalogue and the Sale-a-bration leaflet. It would be a great pleasure to pop them into the post for you.
Here is a list of all those participating in the blog hop. You are currently at mine, Jill Chapman, so your next stop will be Lynn Ellis if you are hopping forwards or Sam Hammond Donald if you are going backwards.
Will be back soon with more inspiration,
