Hoppy Birthday Pop Up card - video tutorial Part 1

Hi there everyone,

Wow I had a busy weekend with two blog hops going on. This was the card I made for the first one for the Pootler's Team.

And as promised I'm back with the video tutorial so you can see exactly how I made it. I've made the video in two parts - today covers how to make the front of the card and I'll be back tomorrow to show you how to make the pop up part inside.

Here are all the measurements you'll need:

METRIC

Card blank: 14.6cm x 21cm, score at 10.5cm

DSP panel: 13.7cm x 9.6cm

Stitched rectangle: 11cm x 7.5cm

Pop Up panel: 20cm x 13.7cm, score at 10cm

    Draw a line at 2.5cm from the fold, mark and cut at

     2cm, 3.5cm, 6cm, 7.5cm, 10cm, 11.5cm

IMPERIAL

Card blank: 8 1/4 ins x 5 3/4 ins, score at 4 1/8 ins

DSP panel: 5 3/8 ins x 3 3/4 ins

Stitched rectangle: 4 3/8 ins x 3 ins

Pop Up panel: 5 7/16 ins x 8 ins, score at 4 ins

    Draw a line at 1 in from the fold, mark and cut at

     7/8 ins, 1 1/2 ins, 2 1/2 ins, 3 1/8 ins, 4 ins, 4 5/8 ins
