As promised, I am back today (sorry, nearly a day late) with the video tutorial, showing you how I made the Christmas card I posted on Saturday for the InspireInk blog hop. Here is the card.....

And here is the video......

As usual I went with a different colour combination in the video and this is the resulting card

And the two cards together so that you can decide which one is your favourite.

InspireInk September Blog Hop - Tic Tac Toe

InspireInk Blog Hop Sept 19 Stampin Up Paper Daisy
Hi everyone and welcome to our monthly InspireInk blog hop. Our challenge for September is a Tic Tac Toe grid, which means we can choose any horizontal, vertical or diagonal line and use those three elements in our project.

InspireInk Tic Tac Toe Stampin Up

I have chosen the top horizontal line - Gold, Christmas, Basic Black - to make my card.

I started with a Very Vanilla card blank, then a layer of gold foil and a mat of Basic Black which has been embossed with the Eyelet Lace Embossing Folder. I then die cut the "Merry" from the "Merry Christmas" die set. "Christmas" was heat embossed in gold onto Basic Black and punched out with the Classic Label Punch. Finally I added some snowflakes - I cut these apart from the cluster in the "Christmas Layers" die set.
