Stamp Around UK August Video Hop - In Colors

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog today and welcome to my blog post accompanying my video for this month's Stamp Around UK video hop. This month our theme is In Colors. (or In Colours for us UK based people!!). 

With the new Annual catalogue in June we had the introduction of 5 new colours: Bumblebee, Misty Moonlight, Just Jade, Magenta Madness and Cinnamon Cider. And these were to be the focus of our projects this month. 

I decided to combine the use of these colours with a little gift bag/box, made using a die from the Little Treats bundle, which will be available from August 4th in the new mini Autumn/Christmas catalogue (so I can't link it below quite yet).

The die in the "Little Treats Box" die set makes it so easy to just cut out the template and slot this little box together. For this box I used Magenta Madness and Just Jade, two of the new In Colors.

And for this one I used Misty Moonlight and Bumblebee. I coloured the ribbon with Stampin' Blends. As I don't yet have the new In Color Blends, I used the nearest colours in my collection, which look fine I think. Dark Daffodil Delight for Bumblebee and Dark Call Me Clover (now retired) for Just Jade. 

As you can see I returned to my default position of using the Medium Daisy Punch to decorate my boxes - I just love that daisy!
