Stamp N Hop July Blog Hop - Favourite Bundle

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Today is the day for this month's Stamp N Hop blog hop and our theme for this month is our "Favourite Bundle". You should be joining me here from my team mate Karen Egan - I can't wait to see which bundle Karen chose!

Oh my - what a decision to make! I have so many favourites. However, I decided to go with my latest acquisition which is my current favourite - Sweet as a Peach. Initially I dismissed this bundle as I am not a huge fan of adding fruits to cards. But recently I have seen so many lovely projects using the flowers from the set rather than the peaches and that was it for me!

Although most of the samples I have seen made with this set have been in "peachy" colours - mostly Pale Papaya - it struck me that you could use almost any colour for the flowers and so I have gone for Fresh Freesia. And despite the name of the set, not a peach nor a peachy colour in sight.

I decided to also go to town on the envelope. As you can see from the top of this post, I decorated the flap of the envelope with the same patterned paper as the card front. Then I stamped the front of the envelope with the same images as I used on the front.

There is a die in the set to cut out the branches/leaves but for this card I didn't use it. But I did cut out the flowers with one of the dies. So clever - one stamp to stamp three flowers and one die to cut all three out - such a time saver!

I hope you like my card and can see the possibilities with this set?

Please do keep hopping around our blog hop to see all the other amazing projects in store for you. Next up is Cheryl Taylor  - a fellow UK demo - you won't want to miss her project!
