Stamp Around UK Video Hop - Embossing Fun with In Symmetry!
Hi everyone,
Welcome to my blog. Today, being the first day of a new month, it is once again time for our Stamp Around Uk Video Hop.
Our theme for today is Embossing Fun and I have used a combination of two different types of embossing on my cards - dry embossing and heat embossing.
My background panel is dry embossed but with a bit of a twist. I haven't used an embossing folder but instead, one of the masks from the Plenty of Patterns pack of masks.
It struck me as soon as I saw this mask that it reminded me of some of the images in the In Symmetry stamp set. I remembered seeing something online about embossing with our masks so thought I would give it a go! So happy it worked.
I show you how to do the dry embossing on my video tutorial but if you'd like to give it a go, the sandwich I used, with my Stampin' Up Cut n Emboss machine was:
Base Plate 1
Clear Plate 3
Silicon Mat
Card Stock
Mask
Grey Plate 4
Using the masks like this gives you a much bigger range of embossing patterns to choose from!
