2022 Create a Calendar - #12 - December - Stitched Stars

Hi everyone,

How are you all doing? Here we are right at the end of 2021! And today we are right at the end of my Create a Calendar 2022 - just in time for the new year. Today I am showing you the last month - December - and for this month I have used the Stitched Stars dies. 

I chose this image rather than anything more obviously Christmassy as I thought it covers New Year quite well too. 

I do hope you've enjoyed my Create a Calendar 2022 series as much as I have enjoyed bringing it to you. decorating this calendar has been so much fun! I'm quite sad it is now at an end.

The Project Share Project - December 30th

Hi everyone,

2022 Create a Calendar - #11 - November - Painted Poppies

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Today we are nearly at the end of my Create a Calendar series - November. Here in the UK the most memorable day in November is Armistice Day on 11th which is a time to remember those who have lost their lives in armed conflicts since World War 1. And the symbol of that day is the poppy - in fact we even call it Poppy Day. So there was an obvious choice of stamp sets to use for this month - Painted Poppies.

I used a Blending Brush and Pool Party ink to make a subtle background but it is so subtle I'm not sure it shows up on the photos!

The images were coloured with Stampin' Blends in Real Red, Mossy Meadow and Granny Apple Green.

2022 Create a Calendar - #10 - October - In Symmetry

Hi everyone,

Happy Tuesday! I had to think twice before I typed that - these days between Christmas are so confusing. Most of the time I have no idea what day it is!

Anyway, onto today's post and I'm happy to say that we are up to October. For this month I thought that sunflowers might be appropriate but as I don't have any sunflower stamps, I had to think outside the box. The In Symmetry set came to the rescue!

I used Crushed Curry, Cinnamon Cider and Just Jade for my flowers.

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. So sorry I'm so late today! But anyway, here we are at number 9 in my Create a Calendar series - September. And for this month I have chosen to use a stamp set that I've had for ages and not yet inked up - Welcoming Window.

I love all the little elements in this stamp set and the coordinating dies. So versatile. I really must use it more!
