Watercolour Up & Away

Today I have a card to show you using the Stampin' Up Up & Away thinlits dies. This is such a great set of dies - a lovely intricate hot air balloon die, which is the one I've used here, plus stripes, clouds and two silhouettes which co-ordinate with the matching stamp set. Such great value too - only £27.00 for a set of 15 dies. AND you can save 10% by buying the set with the matching stamp set. And don't forget that, at the moment, every purchase of £45 qualifies you for a free gift from the Sale-a-bration leaflet.

So onto my card:

I used our new Watercolour Pencils to create the background for the die. It reminds me of the hot air balloons we sometimes see overhead here in the summer months, which often have vertical rainbow stripes.

Just love that sentiment too - I would normally just go for a simple "Happy Birthday" but that message is so apt for this card!

I'm entering this card in my first ever challenge. I have followed "Less is more" since it first began and finally have a card to enter.

"Less is More" #313 - the theme this week is 'one or more balloons' - I hope hot air balloons count!

Back soon,

Jill
