Perennial Birthday from Stampin' Up! handmade card

Hi everyone,

Hope you're all well and if you're in the UK not suffering too much from the effects of the "Beast from the East" weather system we've been experiencing. Here in Surrey we had some snow but not so much that it really affected us and now it has all melted. But I know other parts of the UK have been affected much more and still have loads of snow and icy temperatures. If that's you, let's hope my project today can cheer you up.

I started out making the peach version, using Peekaboo Peach as the base card, for a card swap I was participating in. I then decided to try it in other colourways - firstly the blue, using Marina Mist as the card base....

...and then, as you'll see on the video, in pink, using Sweet Sugarplum.

Two of the colours I have used here - Sweet Sugarplum and Peekaboo Peach - are in the 2016-2018 In Colors set, which means they will be retiring at the end of May and no longer available. If, like me, you love these colours, it might be an idea to stock up now on card stock, ink pads and refills, as once Stampin' Up! announces the retiring list, the In Colors tend to sell out super quick.

Hope you've enjoyed this project. I'll be back soon with another! Meanwhile, Happy Sunday!
