Quick and easy Christmas card with Magnolia Lane cards and more

Hi everyone,

So sorry about my absence over the past couple of days - sometimes life just catches up with me! Today I have my first Christmas card of 2019 to show you. And it is a very quick and easy one. 

I used one of the cards from the Magnolia Lane Cards and More set as the basis for my card. This set consists of 10 blank notecards, 10 envelopes and 10 double sided printed cards (5 of each of 2 designs). 

I coloured the magnolia blooms with Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends to make them look more like poinsettias - I think it worked don't you?

And I used one of the new metallic Delicata ink pads - Golden Glitz - to stamp the Merry Christmas sentiment (which is from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set). How gorgeous is that? 

Then I just trimmed off the border from the card and mounted it onto gold foil and then on a Very Vanilla card blank.
