Birthday card for men using Stitched Triangle dies

Hi everyone,

Apologies first of all as I am very late today. Hopefully, better late than never!

Anyway, very quick little post from me today to bring you the video tutorial for the card I posted a couple of days ago for the Stampin' Dreams blog hop. As usual on the video I made it in different colours to the original. This was the original card:

You may have spotted, this was made in the colours needed for a previous blog hop - the Colour Combo blog hop last Sunday. The colours were Highland Heather, Misty Moonlight and Sahara Sand. I made two cards for this blog hop and in the end went with the other one. When I remade it on the video, I used Pacific Point, Shaded Spruce and Bermuda Bay - I thought this was a more "male" colour combo.

So if you'd like to see how I made both these cards you can watch my video tutorial by CLICKING HERE

  1. Hi Jill,
I love, love, love your cards! These triangles really lend themselves well for masculine cards. I love both color combinations, and agree with you that the second one may be viewed as more masculine. Is that happy birthday stamp a current or retired Stampin'Up stamp or another make?
    Thanks for sharing!

  2. Thanks so much! The Happy Birthday is actual two separate stamps from Happiest of Birthdays and A Wish for Everything - both still current. You can see how I did it in my video tutorial:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3YQS11Jx9uM&t=4s
