#31 Card Making for Beginners - Blended Backgrounds with new Blending Brushes

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog today. Thanks so much for popping in to see me for number 31 in my Card Making for Beginners series. Today we are having a go at blended backgrounds using our new Blending Brushes - so easy to make pretty soft backgrounds.

Our Blending Brushes come in a pack of three for only £11.25 (Product Code 153611).

These cards were my first attempts at using our blending brushes and I definitely need to practise a bit more but I had so much fun producing these cards.

Would you like to see me making another one of these cards? For the video tutorial I used Coastal Cabana and the Humming Bird stamp - but of course I forgot to photograph that one! You can watch the video by CLICKING HERE or on the image below.

So - do you think you'll give that a go? I really hope so!

Don't forget that our fabulous Saleabration promotion is still going strong. Spend £45+ and choose a free product either stamp set or pack of patterned papers. Read all about it by CLICKING HERE.

Bye for now, back soon,

All the products I have used to make this project are available from my online shop. Simply click "Shop Now" button on the top of this page or click any of the images below to go direct to that item in my online Stampin’ Up! shop. If you order from my online shop please use my monthly shopping code (below) to receive a free thank you gift from me as I really appreciate your business. (If your order is £150 or more then please do not use my code as you will earn Stampin' Rewards in your own right and can choose your own freebies!)

If you would prefer a more personal service, have any questions or need help with your order, please either send me an email or give me a ring. I'll be more than happy to help. You can also find me on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube - links on the left of this page.

  1. Lovely way to make a card....fun and quick. I may use the THANK YOU in the Heal My Heart set with the Touch of Ink images to make the TY cards. Thanks for the inspiration. Mary from New York
