Share It Sunday blog hop

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. My post today is a bit later than normal but that is because I am participating in the Share It Sunday blog hop, which doesn't have a theme as such, but is an opportunity to share any projects we have been working on. I hope you've been enjoying having a hop around and seeing what everyone has been up to!

Here are the cards I am featuring for my entry.

This was my first time inking up the Color and Contour stamp set. The black and white patterned paper is from the Pattern Party pack (love it so much!!) and the scalloped edhed panel was cut using the Scalloped Contour dies which coordinate with the Color and Contour stamp set.
The card on the left was actually my first attempt to make a card for a previous blog hop which had a colour challenge - the colours were Misty Moonlight, Bumblebee and Soft Succulent.

However I wasn't very pleased with this card in these colours so went on to make a different one using different products but the same colours which is the one I used for that blog hop - you can see that one by CLICKING HERE

Although I didn't like this card much in those colours, I thought that the layout had potential so went ahead and made a version which is much more "me" - lovely bright, summery colours this time - Daffodil Delight, Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia!

I think this version works much better - those colours really pop against the black and white.

What do you think? Do you agree with me about the colours?

Thanks so much for joining me today - please do keep hopping around all the links below to see all the amazing projects. And I know everyone would love it if you have time to leave a quick comment if we have inspired you!

Bye for now, back soon,
