Jill & Gez Go Crafting - 12th April 2021

Hi everyone,

Welcome to another "Jill and Gez Go Crafting" when myself and my good friend Gez give each other a bit of exposure on our blogs.

My first pick for this week is one of the cards Gez made on our Facebook Live video on Saturday. Our theme was to use any retiring products and Gez used two punches, a die set and some DSP to make this great card.

My next choice is one of the cards that Gez made in her One Sheet Wonder series - a great, clean and simple Christmas card in white and gold.

And finally for today I had to include this gorgeous box - looks great closed.....

But looks even better when opened with this great diagonal hinge.

The Project Share Project - February 4th

Good morning everyone,

Welcome to another Thursday and the Project Share Project where I get to showcase projects made by some of my crafty friends. Today I have chosen three wonderful projects for you, from the lovely Heather, Verity and Gez. It gets harder and harder each week to choose just one project from each of these girls as they are all producing so many amazing things. 

Today I am beginning with Verity of Inky Butterfly who has made this set of lovely cards using the Emboss Resist technique. I wonder which colour is your favourite? 

 

Verity uses her Stamparatus to stamp this huge stamp - always a good idea to make sure you get a really good image Hop over to Verity's blog to watch how she does it and see the details about her card by CLICKING HERE.

Next is Heather of Stamp with Nellie. I love all the greys in this card and Heather has reminded me about this patterned paper (Peony Garden) which I have not used nearly enough - I must dig it out again!

And last for today is Gez. Gez has once again made a beautiful box. This time she has used the gorgeous Love You Always Speciality foiled papers. 

Gez also shows how she made the beautiful bow that tops her box. We used to carry a punch for making bows similar to that but Gez just uses the Banner Triple Punch. You can read all about Gez's project and watch her video by CLICKING HERE.
