Stamping Inkspirations March Blog Hop - Embossing Techniques

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Today it is time for the Stamping Inspirations blog hop.

For this month our theme is Embossing Techniques - could be dry embossing, heat embossing or even using paste. I have used both dry and heat embossing on my card. There is even a bit of embossing on the shelf, which results from using die.

My central panel features partial dry embossing - I have only embossed a small part of the white panel with the Brick and Mortar 3d folder. I'll be back this coming week with a video to show you how I achieved this.  I then used the lovely Welcoming Window bundle to create my shelf and pots of flowers.

I used heat embossing on the sentiment, which is from Turtle Friends, in white onto Soft Sea Foam card stock.

Do pop back to see my video later this week.

Bye for now, back soon,

Stamp Around UK August 21 Blog Hop - Monochrome

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my second post today. This time it is to bring you my contribution to the Stamp Around UK Video Hop. For this month our theme is "Monochromatic". Earlier today I showed you my first card (the square on on the left of the photo above) and now I will show you the card I made on the video.

As you can see it is based on the same design but I changed a few elements. I guess I sort of CASED myself!!

How gorgeous is that embossing folder?

For all details of the products used please see the links below. I am not yet able to link the patterned papers (Beautifully Penned) or the sentiment (from Penguin Place) as these items are not available until Tuesday 3rd August.

I give all measurements for both cards on the video so please take a look by CLICKING HERE or on the image below.

And do keep hopping around all the other links. As always, some fantastic inspiration for you.

Under My Umbrella Team Training Day Project No 1

Hi everyone,

As some of you might now, last Sunday I braved the wrath of Storm Ciara to drive to Milton Keynes for a Team training day. These days are always such fun. Meeting up with other demos, have a chat, a laugh and of course, some crafting. Unusually for me on this occasion, I actually made all three of the Make 'n' Take projects. And I thought I would show them to you. All three were designed by Michelle Last, who is the lead of the Pinkies team. If you would like to read more about the projects you can hop over to Michelle's blog HERE.

So today, I am bringing you the first project, made with the Under My Umbrella stamp set and the Brick & Mortar embossing folder.
Under My Umbrella Stampin' Up!

We coloured the images with Stampin' Blends. And all those little flower clusters were fussy cut - not to be attempted without a good amount of patience!

Under My Umbrella Stampin' Up!

The top panel is slightly shorter than the bottom and we embossed the revealed section of the bottom part.

I'll be back soon to bring you the other two projects. Don't miss them!
