Butterfly Squares card with Brilliant Wings dies

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Today I am bringing you another video tutorial, this time to make this card which I showed you yesterday (Saturday). 

The original card was made with squares of patterned papers from the Dainty Flowers DSP pack - which incidentally can be earned for FREE during Saleabration (until the end of Feb) with any order of at least £45. 

Of course I changed the colours for the video going with a very bright (!) combination of Tahitian Tide and Parakeet Party.

The Project Share February blog hop - Saleabration

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. 

Here we are again, the first Saturday of the month and that can only mean one thing - the Project Share blog hop. And for this month our theme is Saleabration. So once again I am using the Dainty Flowers DSP. I'm loving using this pack - so many possibilities!

Here I have used the papers to create my squared background in shades of Fresh Freesia and Blushing Bride. And then added some die cut butterflies which were cut with the Brilliant Wings dies.

I completed my card by adding "HI" which was cut using the Alphabet A La Mode dies and then a scattering of Iridescent Pearls.

The Project Share Project - 26th Jan 2023

Hi everyone,

Welcome to another Thursday and the Project Share Project where I get to showcase projects made by some of my crafty friends. Today I have chosen three wonderful projects for you, beginning with Verity of Inky Butterfly who has made this lovely floating circle card. In fact, Verity CASEd me to make a similar card and then CASEd herself to make this one. I love how we all like to share our ideas.

Ink, Stamp, Share September blog hop - Colour Challenge

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. It is time once again for the Ink Stamp Share blog hop and for this month we have a colour challenge.

Our challenge is to use at least three of these colours. I chose four - Parakeet Party, Tahitian Tide, Polished Pink and Daffodil Delight. I decided to give the "Floating Circle" technique a try.

I stuck strips of card stock to a piece of Window Sheet and then die cut it with one of the Layering Circle dies. I completed the card with a butterfly from the Brilliant Wings dies and a greeting form Sending Smiles.
