InspireInk Birthday Card - video tutorial

Hi everyone,

I'm back as promised today with the video tutorial to show you how I made the card I posted yesterday for the InspireInk blog hop. 

As you can see I used a different colour scheme for the card I made on the video and I love it! Seaside Spray - just gorgeous!

Here is yesterday's card in Rococo Rose - another of my favourite colours.

As you will see on the video, I also stamped on the panel inside the card and on the envelope - a great way to make a handmade card even more special!

I think I forgot to show you the inside of yesterday's card!

Here are the measurements you will need to make your card:

METRIC

Card blank - 21cm x 14.8cm (half an A4 sheet), score at 10.5cm

Whisper White panel (front and inside) - 10 cm x 14.5 cm

Patterned Paper strip - 10.5 cm x 3 cm (Glue 4 cm from top of panel)

IMPERIAL
Card blank - 8 1/4 ins x 6 ins, score at 4 1/8 ins

Whisper White panel (front and inside) - 3 7/8 ins x 5 3/4 ins

Patterned Paper strip - 4 1/8 ins x 1 1/8 ins (Glue 4 cm from top of panel)

Inspireink August Blog Hop - Birthdays!

Hi there everyone,

Welcome to our August Blog Hop and this month the theme is "Birhdays". I love this theme - I make more birthday cards than any others.

For my card I decided to use the Celebrate with Cake stamp set from our Beginner Brochure but to do a more stepped up version. 

 

I used one of the new In Colors - Rococo Rose. And used the sponge dauber method to get the two tone effect on the flowers.

I did a little bit of fussy cutting around the flower heads to add a bit of dimension.

Hope you like my card - this stamp set has so many possibilities. I'll definitely be back with more samples using it soon.

Even more Celebrate With Cake Simple Stamping 3 x3 thank you cards

Hello there everyone,

Thanks so much for joining me today. 

Earlier this month I offered a mini share of the Noble Peacock suite. I was so pleased that so many of you signed up for a share - thank you so much if you were one of them! While packaging up the shares I wanted to include a little note to say thanks and as I had the "Celebrate with Cake" out on my desk, these were the little cards I came up with. 

Such sweet but simple little cards. As it was to go with the Noble Peacock share, I wanted to use coordinating colours so these are stamped in Blueberry Bushel and Old Olive.

The "thanks" is from the Beauty Abounds stamp set - I'm ashamed to say I've had that for a few weeks now and still have only used a couple of the sentiments - must ink up the other stamps soon.
