Happy Easter! Daffodil card video tutorial

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. And a very happy Easter weekend to all of you! I hope you are having a wonderful time and eating lots of chocolate! My husband and I are spending the weekend in Yorkshire in our campervan. Wish me luck! I must admit that Easter has kind of crept up on me this year and only just this week got around to making these last minute Easter cards.

I didn't remember when I was making these, but when I looked back through other cards I've made with the Daffodil Daydream set, I realised I made very similar cards last year. Ooops!! I am very sad that this set is retiring at the end of this month. But the good news is that both the stamp set and the matching dies are heavily discounted. Now only £8.80 for the stamps and £14.40 for the dies. Such a bargain!

One of the differences on these cards, though, is the addition of the panel cut out with one of the Radiating Stitches dies. You won't find these dies in the catalogue but only in my online shop. They are part of our Online Exclusives deal. Have you seen everything that is available? Have a look HERE.

I made my cards in two colours - Daffodil Delight and So Saffron. So Saffron is one of the colours that will be retiring at the beginning of May. But we get some fab new colours to replace those that are leaving us! Can't wait.

The sentiment is from another retiring set - Celebrating You - and again, that set is discounted.

Have a great Easter!

Bye for now, back soon,

Pen wraps - video tutorial

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Life is very hectic at the moment. I am away for a couple of days Wednesday/Thursday this week then away for a week from the following Friday and then again for the weekend. Which means that posts on here might be a bit sporadic. Try as I might, I can't seem to get ahead with scheduling many advance posts!

Anyway I do have a quick post for you today. I am bringing you the video tutorial to show you how I made these pen wraps.

Ink, Stamp, Share Showcase blog hop

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Today I am taking part in one of my favourite blog hops of the month - The Ink, Stamp, Share Showcase blog hop, where we all get to show you one of the projects we have been working on recently.

I have been busy making these cute little wraps to make these pens into a lovely little gift.

I found that I had several Stampin' Up! pens that would be great to send as little gifts to anyone that deserved one - in my mind were newly signed up team members - these would be great to go with the other little gifts I tend to send them in their "Welcome to my Team" packages.

For my wraps I used the fabulous Perfectly Penciled DSP and a greeting from the Celebrating You stamp set.

These little wraps are really easy to make. To find out how, come back here soon to catch my video tutorial showing how I made them. Or even better, subscribe to my YouTube channel HERE.

Meanwhile do keep hopping around all the other links below to see what all my crafty colleagues have been doing.

The Project Share September blog hop - Romance

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Today, being the first Saturday of the month, it is once again time for our little Project Share blog hop.

And for this month our theme is "Romance". I had to think very hard about this one as I don't have any specifically wedding/engagement/
anniversary sets. But looking through the sets I do have, I spotted the hearts stamp in the Celebrate with Tags set.

I decided to stick with a simple white and silver theme for my card. I stamped the hearts stamp repeatedly and then heat embossed in silver.

The scalloped borders are cut using a die  from the Penned Flowers set. The sentiment is from "Celebrating You" and is mounted on panels from the Pretty Pillowbox set. I finished my card off with a trio of Iridescent Pearls.

I'll be back with a video tutorial really soon  so please pop back to see that (sign up for email notifications by clicking the green button below).

I do hope you'll continue hopping around all the others blogs participating today. I just know they'll all have something fabulous to inspire you. Next up is Heather - just click on the "Next" button.
