Cup of Tea Birthday Cards for Facebook Live Crafting with Jill & Gez

Hi everyone,

Happy Sunday! Yesterday, Gez and I did our monthly live session over on our Facebook group - Come Crafting with Jill & Gez. If you'd like to join us live next month please do join our group - CLICK HERE. Normally we try to do our live crafting on the first Saturday of the month, but recently our social lives/holidays seem to have gotten in the way! 

Our theme for this month was to use our favourite products that will be retiring at the beginning of May as the Annual Catalogue and the spring Mini catalogue both come to the end of their sales period. I used quite a lot of retiring products as you will see!

Here are the cards I made on the live.

This year we are having a colour refresh and as well as getting some fab new colours, we will be losing some of my all time favourites. For my cards today I used three of the colours I will miss most - Polished Pink, Pear Pizzazz and Bermuda Bay. As I am typing this, all three are still available in my online shop in cardstock and ink pads.

The focus of my card is the Cup of Tea stamp set and matching Teacup dies. Again these are still available and even better, both are discounted. But don't hang around. Lots of retiring products have already sold out and products are only available while stocks last. 

Other retiring products I used are the Happiness Abounds stamp set (for the sentiments and still available at a reduced price), the Hive 3D embossing folder (sadly now SOLD OUT) and the Perfectly Penciled DSP (still available with a discount).

 

I added a panel on top of the embossed panel inside the card, to allow room for a message to be written inside. 

I gave all the measurements and instructions (I think!) on the video so if you need to know any of these please take a look.

The Project Share Blog Hop - Case the catalogue

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me.

 

Thanks for joining me today for our little blog hop. It is really exciting to think that when this blog goes live, all four of us who are in this hop will be together face to face at a team crafting weekend. How exciting is that? We might even get to update our photo!

For this month our theme is "CASE the catalogue". My card is CASEd from page 12 of the Annual Catalogue. It uses the Cup of Tea bundle and the Tea Boutique Cards and Envelopes. 

This is a quick little card. I was really short of time so needed something simple!

The cards and envelopes are so pretty and the fact that they coordinate so well with the Cup of Tea suite is such a bonus. And how lovely it would be to receive a card with such a lovely matching envelope.

Share It Sunday October blog hop - Cup of Tea Thank You cards

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Today I am taking part in the Share It Sunday blog hop, which has no specified theme but gives us all a chance to showcase any project we have been working on recently.

I have decided to show you the thank you cards I sent to all customers who had shopped with me in September. I usually try to send out their thank yous at the beginning of the following month, but I lost three weeks of October due to an injury so they were only posted last week. I do hope they have all arrived now though and hope they all liked them, and will forgive me for their lateness. 

 

This is one of my first times using this Cup of Tea bundle and I have to say I love it! My card was inspired by a card I had seen online and saved in a folder on my laptop, but there was no watermark on the photo so I have no idea who to credit. 

Here is a pile of a few of the cards I made. Such a joy to do this every month. I really do appreciate each and every order I receive and am so grateful that my customers choose to shop with me to keep my little business ticking over.
