Ink, Stamp, Share Showcase Blog hop - December

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me.

Today I am taking part in the Ink Stamp Share Showcase blog hop. We have no theme but this is a chance for us to show you what we've all been working on. And I have been busy making these pretty little candy cane treat pouches.

This was a good opportunity for me to use up some off cuts of the Painted Christmas DSP that I still had left over.

For those of you interested, I bought my candy canes from a local pound shop - 10 for £1 - not bad. And these make such a nice little gift to hand out. I have already given one to to my hairdresser, the staff at the gym and my postie!

My little pouches are adorned with a tag die cut with the Tailor Made Tags dies, and decorated with the Merriest Moments stamp set and a sentiment from Simply Fabulous.

I hope you like them. I'll be back with a video soon so you can give them a try yourselves!

Meanwhile do keep hopping around to see what everyone else has been up to!

Bye for now, back soon,

Customer thank you gifts - Twix treat with Penguin Playmates

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. As some of you will know, especially if you have ever placed an order with me, I like to reward my customers every month with a little thank you package. Each package contains a handmade card, a hand packaged gift and, if they have added my code to their order, a FREE product gift too. Today I want to show you the hand packaged gift I sent this month for any orders placed in August.

I used the FREE Penguin Playmates to make these simple little pockets and then decorated them with a penguin punched from the same papers, mounted onto a scalloped rectangle from the Scalloped Contours dies.

And would you like to see what was in these little packages?

These would make great little stocking fillers or maybe table favours for Christmas lunch. I have made a quick video to show you how I made them. To see my video you can watch by CLICKING HERE or on the image below.

What do you think? Will you have a go?

Bye for now, back soon,

Penguin Place Thank You card

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. As you may know, our new mini catalogue went live yesterday and for the rest of this week I am going to bring you some projects I have made with one of my favourite bundles from the catalogue - Penguin Place.

As you can see, this stamp set has a coordinating punch - always a winner for me!

I decided not to go with a Christmas theme for this first project but to showcase how this bundle can be used for other occasions. In fact I began by CASEing one of the samples in the new mini catalogue - see pg 33.

I first made it in Highland Heather.

And then tried it in Mint Macaron - a much neglected colour in my collection!

I have a LOT more of these to make as they will be my customer thank you cards this month. I'm thinking of using a whole rainbow of colours.

But for now we just have the two colours:

Of course I have recorded a quick little video for you. To see my video you can watch by CLICKING HERE or on the image below.

I hope you like this cute little card and that you might pop back later this week to see this cute penguin pop up again!

Bye for now, back soon,

Customer Thank You gifts - Post It covers

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog today.  Every month I send out thank you packages to everyone who has shopped with me the previous month. Everyone receives a handmade card and handmade gift, plus if they have used my Monthly Shopping Code (see below) they will receive a product gift too. Today I want to show you the handmade gifts I sent out this week for June orders.

These are Post It note holders - just simple covers holding a little pack of 3" x 3" Post It notes.

I decorated them with papers from the Pattern Party Pack and used several different colours of coordinating cardstock. I made a whole pile of these but forgot to take photos before I packaged them up and put them in the post.

I used two dies from the Tasteful Labels die set and a stamp from Sweet Strawberry for the label on front.

If you'd like to see how I made these (they are so super easy to make!) you can watch my video tutorial by CLICKING HERE or on the image below.

Thanks so much for popping in to see me.
