The Project Share Project - March 2nd 2023

Hi everyone,

Welcome to another Thursday and the Project Share Project where I get to showcase projects made by some of my crafty friends. Today I have chosen three wonderful projects for you, beginning with Verity of Inky Butterfly who has made this lovely card  to celebrate the arrival of Spring!

Video tutorial for Daffodil Card

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. A couple of weeks ago I showed you this great spring-like card, using the gorgeous Daffodil Dies. This was my card for a team card swap quite recently. 

As you can see from the photo below, for some of them I used Basic Black as a background and for others Soft Sea Foam. Very different effects!

I think the black is still my favourite. 

Anyway, today I am bringing you the video tutorial for this card. Be prepared for a lot of die cutting!!

Share It Sunday February Blog Hop

I had been dying to have a go at making a card with the Daffodil dies for ages and finally found some time. I made these cards for a recent team card swap - I had to make seven in all and I completely underestimated the amount of die cutting entailed in them!

However I was very pleased with the result - so spring like!

The sentiment is from the Flowing Flowers stamp set - another set I haven't really used yet - but I love this sentiment!

How to use the Daffodil Daydream dies

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Today I would like to introduce you to the Daffodil Dies which are part of the Daffodil Daydream bundle on page 37 of the mini catalogue. 

Here are all the dies in the set. If you're like me, you might initially look at these and wonder how to use them.

I have been playing with the dies which go together to make up the two different daffodil flowers. 

As you can see a few of the dies are duplicated which really save time when putting the flowers together. I show you on the video below how to put together the two different daffodils.

And I've made a colour chart showing you some of the different combinations of colours you could try.

This is not an exhaustive list - there are many other combinations you could try!
