Pink Daisies with the Daisy Punch

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Last Saturday, I featured this card for a blog hp with a theme of "Harvest Time".

Today I'm back with the video tutorial for you and as usual I have gone with a different colour for the video. 

Back to using one of my favourite colours - Polished Pink! Teamed with some of my favourite Brights colours.

And just a little bit of decoration inside!

Stamping Inkspirations October Blog Hop - Harvest time

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Today I am taking part in the Stamping Inkspirations blog hop and our theme for October is Harvest Time.

After scanning my shelf full of stamp sets I was scratching my head a bit for this theme. I don't really have any "harvest" themed sets. So a a little bit of thinking outside the box was needed. I searched on Pinterest for harvest cards and several of them featured sunflowers. As I don't have any sunflowers in my collection, the Daisy Punch came to the rescue once again.

The centre of my sunflowers were made from circles from Cinnamon Cider cut with the Gingerbread dies and then dotted with a Soft Suede Stampin' Write marker. The panel of patterned paper is from the Pansy Petals DSP pack.

And I decided to carry on the colour theme through to the inside with a coordinating panel, rather than my usual white insert!

#9 Card Making for Beginners - Series 2 - Easy Daisy Lane card

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Today it is time for another "Card Making for Beginners" post. I decided that I hadn't used the Medium Daisy punch and the accompanying stamp set - Daisy Lane - for an age so I thought it was time to dust it off. 

I loved the Medium Daisy Punch when it first came out - and I still do! So great for someone with my brand name!

I used one of the dies from Ornate Layers for the panel - haven't used these dies nearly enough!

The sentiment is from the Handsomely Suited stamp set but any appropriately sized sentiment from your stash could be used.
