InspireINK April blog hop - Fancy Floral

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Today I am taking part in the InspireINK blog hop and for this month our theme is "Fancy Floral".

As you'll know if you have followed me for a while, "floral" is one of my favourite themes so I had to take part. For my "daisy chain" card I used 

the Dainty Delight dies.

The embossing folder I have used - "Cross Hatch" is from our Online Exclusives range. It comes in a set called Basics 3D Embossing Folders.

The sentiment is one of my favourite Happy Birthdays - from the Days to Remember stamp set.

The Project Share April Blog Hop - My Favourite Technique

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Today I am participating in our little Project Share blog hop and for today our theme is "My Favourite Technique".

As my favourite technique, I have chosen "Just Die Cuts". Long before I had even heard of Stampin' Up!, I was making cards but just using dies. I had never even tried stamping. And it is using just die cuts that I often return to.

For my card today, I chose to use a set of dies that are new to me: "Around the Bend". As well as a few "bendy" dies, this set includes some lovely flowers and foliage shapes, which are what I have used for my card. I have used Fresh Freesia, Pool Party and Soft Sea Foam for the colours on my card. 

I must admit I did use the tiniest bit of stamping for the sentiment. In my past days, before I started stamping, I would have printed a sentiment.

Jill & Gez Go Crafting - Jan 17th
