Ink Stamp Share March blog hop - Spring/Easter!!

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Today I am taking part in the Ink Stamp Share monthly blog hop and for March our theme is Easter and/or Spring. 

For my project I once again went to the Pansy Patch stamp set. I have a feeling these stamps will be retiring when the new Annual Catalogue comes out (not long to wait now!) so it feels good to be using them while I can!

I decided to go with a different colour way for this card, stepping away from the more normal purple and yellow, for Calypso Coral and Petal Pink.  

I used the Thoughtful Expressions dies for the decorative panels - these are a fairly new acquisition for me but I can see I'm going to use these a lot!

Easter themed card for March InspireInk blog hop

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Today I am taking part in the InspireInk blog hop, which for March our theme is Easter.  

I decided to make a spring wreath for my card, using the Cottage wreaths stamp set.

Hopefully the Daffodil Yellow flowers are reminiscent of daffodils. They were diecut with a little die from the Thoughtful Expressions dies.

The background is embossed with one of the folders from a set of three - Basics 3D Embossing folders which are one of the products in our Online Exclusive offering (this means you won't find them in one of our catalogues). 

I have to admit the sentiment is from a long retired set - Celebrating You - as this was the only "Happy Easter" stamp I could find in my stash!

Pansy Patch Easter card for Easter blog hop

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Only three weeks until Easter and today I am taking part in an Easter blog hop.

I tried to think of appropriate Easter themes - eggs, lambs, bunnies, crosses - but had no stamp sets containing any of those images, so instead I decided on spring flowers and in particular pansies. So out came the Pansy Patch stamp set. It is such a long time since I've used that set and I really enjoyed it.

 

Of course, I had to do a little bit of stampin inside too!

The Project Share Project - April 6th

Hi everyone,

Welcome to another Thursday and the Project Share Project where I get to showcase projects made by some of my crafty friends. Today I have been seeking out Easter projects for you, beginning with Verity of Inky Butterfly who made this lovely treat bag a good while ago.
