Encircled in Beauty medallion card

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Today I want to show you a card made with the amazing Encircled in Beauty dies - and incidentally until 10.50pm tonight (17th November) you can grab these for only £25.60 instead of £32.00 in our Seasonal Sale. 

The Polished Pink card I made when I was trying to come up with a card to send my daughter after she secured her first professional acting role. But then I made another version which was the one I sent her. See that one HERE. 

I then made the Coastal Cabana version for the video and changed it to a thank you card - I always need lots of those!

The intricate border at the bottom is made with a dies from the Gingerbread dies.

You're Absolutely Amazing card with Encircled in Beauty dies

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. I'm so excited to bring this card to you today as it was made for a very special achievement.

Some of you may have heard me talking about my youngest daughter, Annie, on some of my videos. Her dream, since she was very small, has been to be on the stage, acting, dancing and singing. She has worked so hard for this and has been rejected at auditions so many times. I have no idea how she has had the resilience to keep getting up, brushing herself off and doing it all again. And the great news this week is that she has finally been offered her first professional job. She has been offered a part in a production which will be touring around the UK from January to August next year. To say I am so, so proud of her is such an understatement.

Of course I needed a special card to mark this occasion. I used the sentiment from the Color and Contour set and a die from the Encircled in Beauty die set. 

Here are both the cards I made. The Highland Heather one will be the one I send to Annie - purple is her favourite colour. The Polished Pink one will be in my stash waiting for another occasion when it is needed!

The Project Share Project - Oct 14th

Hi everyone,

Welcome to another Thursday and the Project Share Project where I get to showcase projects made by some of my crafty friends. Today I have chosen three wonderful projects for you, beginning with Verity of Inky Butterfly who was inspired to make this lovely card by a leftover scrap of patterned paper she found on her desk.
