Buy One Get One Sale is here again - lots more retired products added

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Today I want to let you know that I have once again opened my Buy One Get One Free Sale.

I have been working away behind the scenes adding more products from recently retired catalogues so there is now a lot more choice. For those of you not in the know, this is how it works:

These are all products from previous years from my own collection. I need to clear some space to make room for new goodies!  Some have been lightly used, some are brand new and unused. They are supplied as seen in the photographs.  I have arranged them into categories - Stamp Sets, Dies Sets, Stamp and Die Bundles, Stamp and Punch bundles, Embossing Folders, Stamp Pads, DSP (patterned papers), Kits and a few Miscellaneous items, and within the categories they are in alphabetical order so that if there is something specific you are looking for, it will be easier to search for it.  All items are priced at the original catalogue prices but for every item you buy, you can choose another absolutely FREE. The cheapest item in each pair of products will be the free one. Postage cost for each order will be added but the maximum amount will be £3.00, depending on which and how many items you order. Sales will be on a first come, first served basis. Please email me at jilldchapman@gmail.com to reserve the items you would like. I will reply confirming that the items are still available (or not!) and letting you know the total cost to pay. You will have 24 hours from my reply to pay via Paypal or bank transfer. As soon as items have been paid for, I will delete them from the list and post them out to you. If payment is not received within 24 hours, the items will be offered to the next person who would like them.

Occasionally going forward, I will be highlighting a few of my favourite projects made with products in the sale. Firstly, I am showcasing made with "A Touch of Ink". Remember, I only have one of this stamp set available, so please let me know if you'd like to reserve it!

Next, as there is still time to squeeze in a few more festive projects, I am showcasing "Christmas Gleaming". (By the way the foliage die is from the "Christmas Layers" set - also available as I am typing this up!)

Finally for today, the "Honey Bee" stamp set.

I do hope you've enjoyed seeing those throwback projects - they make me realise how fabulous and versatile these products are. In all honesty I'd love to keep them all but I really do not have room!!

There are videos to go with most of these projects. Just hop over to my channel CLICKING HERE and then search for the name of the stamp set - the projects should then appear!

I look forward to hearing from you!

Bye for now, back soon,

The Project Share Project - March 26th

Hi everyone,

Welcome to another Thursday and the Project Share Project where I get to showcase projects made by some of my crafty friends. Today I have chosen three wonderful projects for you, beginning with Verity of Inky Butterfly who has been using the Honey Bee stamp set to make this fabulous card.

Honey Bee Stanpin Up
Hop over to Verity's blog to see the details about her card by CLICKING HERE.

Next is Heather of Stamp with Nellie. I was delighted to see this project on Heather's blog and to see that she used one of my tutorials to make. Over the years I have made several different versions of these little pouches (sometimes napkin or diaper folds). Heather has cleverly mounted her pouch onto card stock and patterned paper to make a card.

And last for today is Gez. Gez has been using her newly acquired Positive Thoughts set to make some cards and here is the first one she has showcased.

Swap cards from team training

Hi everyone,

As you know, a couple of weeks ago I attended a team training and as is usual at these events, of course there were swaps involved. On these days we are put into smaller groups of 5 or 6 or so to swap with. I chose to participate in a group called "Any Bundle". In the end our group was a bit of a disaster, as two people were unable to make it because of the weather and as for me - numpty that I am, I left mine sitting on my desk at home. However, the Royal Mail is a wonderful thing and I can now show you the cards I received.

First of is this pretty card made by Lisa Cornwall using the Parisian Beauty bundle. Lisa has used beautiful soft colours for her card.

Next is this intricate card by Sam Jeffries, who chose to use the same bundle as me - the Honey Bee bundle. I've tried to show in the photos the interesting way that the card opens and closes.

Next, Nicky Keylock has used the lovely Painted Poppies bundle for her card and has used a very fancy fold, expertly executed, for the front.

And lastly, the third person in our group to use the Honey Bee bundle. This lovely card is by Carol Donnelly.

Beautiful card for honey bee lovers!

Hi everyone,

Today I have a card for you made with the Honey Bee bundle - a stamp set and die set. Here is my card - it is a bit "busy" for me - not quite so clean and simple as usual!

Honey bee Stampin' Up!

Such a sweet little card. I used two different patterned papers from the Golden Honey pack which is currently available to earn for FREE with an order of £45.

The bees and and the flower were die cut from other sheets of the patterned paper pack. So great how everything coordinates so well! The hive was heat embossed in gold. You can see that better on this next post.

Add a strip of ribbon and a scatter of metallic pearls and you're done.

I made a LOT of these cards. They were the cards I sent out with my customers thank you's last month and I also made them to swap with friends at our recent team training day. I did manage to save one though, for my father in law. He is an amazing man. In July he will celebrate his 96th birthday and he is still going strong - lives independently and is still walks well. Until a few weeks ago he kept several bee hives and became a leading authority in our area on the subject. In the last few years he has written three books on the subject. As I said - an amazing man. So one of these cards will be for him!

Would you like to see how to make the card? You can watch my video tutorial by CLICKING HERE or on the image below.

Thanks for popping in to see me today. Hope you liked today's card. Back soon with more craftiness.
