Jill & Gez Go Crafting - March 28th

Hi everyone,

Welcome to another "Jill and Gez Go Crafting" when myself and my good friend Gez give each other a bit of exposure on our blogs.

Gez has an amazing blog with loads of fabulous inspiration and really detailed tutorials - just hop over to https://www.nigezza.co.uk/. And also a brilliant YouTube channel which you can view HERE

Today I am starting not with a card, but a scrapbook layout, which Gez made for a blog hop this weekend. I love the simplicity of this layout and of course it uses my favourite punches - the daisies!

Pop over to Gez's blog to read more about how she made it by CLICKING HERE.

Next up, again not a card, but some cute little tea bag envelopes.

Gez has cleverly chosen patterned papers to match the colours of the teabag packaging. Read all about this project and see Gez's video by CLICKING HERE.

Finally for today, at last we have a card. Gez made this lovely card for her cousin's 60th birthday. I love the colours!

Hope you've enjoyed seeing Gez's projects today and that you'll pop over to see her fabulous blog. I'll be back with more from Gez in two weeks!

#9 Card Making for Beginners - Series 2 - Easy Daisy Lane card

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Today it is time for another "Card Making for Beginners" post. I decided that I hadn't used the Medium Daisy punch and the accompanying stamp set - Daisy Lane - for an age so I thought it was time to dust it off.

I loved the Medium Daisy Punch when it first came out - and I still do! So great for someone with my brand name!

I used one of the dies from Ornate Layers for the panel - haven't used these dies nearly enough!

The sentiment is from the Handsomely Suited stamp set but any appropriately sized sentiment from your stash could be used.

If you'd like to see how I made my card (so you can make it too!) you can watch my video tutorial by CLICKING HERE or on the image below.

Bye for now, back soon,

Daisy Punch Sketch Challenge card - video tutorial

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog today. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Here is my project for today, using two of the gorgeous new In Colors - Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia.

This card is another version of one that I made last month for a blog hop sketch challenge.

Amazing how a different colour combination makes such a difference!

The ribbon I have used on this card is a new one from the 21-22 Annual Catalogue. It is Highland Heather Grosgrain but has a really lovely shimmer to it. On the first card I used the Flower Confetti Border punch for the three mini flowers. As this punch has now retired instead I used die cut flowers from the Pierced Flowers dies.

If you'd like to see how I made these cards you can watch my video tutorial by CLICKING HERE or on the image below.

Hope you enjoy that. Have a great day!
