Customer thank you gifts

Hi everyone,

One of the great things about being a Stampin' Up! demo is being able to send personal thank yous to all my customers. I like to show them that I really appreciate their business and to thank them for choosing me as their demo.

Each month I send out thank you packages to everyone who has shopped with me the previous month. Everyone receives a handmade thank you card (and I write my personal message on a Post It note so that the card can be repurposed if wanted) and a little thank you gift - something small with handmade packaging usually. Chocolate quite often features, sometimes other sweet treats or posh teabags - I like to mix it up a bit. And if the customer has added my Monthly Shopping Code to their order, they will also receive a FREE product gift. The value of the gift will depend on how many orders I have received and how many Stampin' Rewards have accumulated. during Saleabration I'm often able to send a stamp set, because Stampin' Up! gives us an additional £20.

But today I wanted to show you the little covered notebooks I made as thank you gifts earlier this year.

Share What You Love Stampin' Up note books

These are quite small but an ideal size to pop into a handbag or pocket! I have used Tranquil Tide card stock with the lovely Share What You Love papers. The sentiment is from the Butterfly Gala set and is punched out with the Classic Label punch. Easy!

Here are just a few of them waiting to be packaged and posted.

I don't have a specific video for these notebooks as I'm still suffering with a terrible cough which m,akes recording videos tricky but I made one a couple of years ago and the technique is more or less the same! See it HERE or click on the image below:

I'll be back soon - gradually trying to get back in the swing after this dreadful cold bug.

The Project Share Project - Week 10

Hi everyone,

Hello there and thank you for joining me again today for our next instalment of the Project Share Project, when I get the chance to showcase the amazing work of some of my fellow Stampin' Up! demos.

Today I have chosen three beautiful cards made using the Bloom by Bloom stamp set - such a versatile set!

First up today is this lovely card from Helzie at SlimmandStylish. Helzie has been doing a lot of colouring just recently and this card is no exception - she has used her Stampin' Blends to get a really professional look.

Helzie has made a timelapse video tutorial showing how she created her card - pop over to her blog to read more and click on the video link - HERE

Humming Along Stampin' Up!

Next today is Verity of InkyButterfly, who has made this very striking monochrome card. Verity entered this for a sketch challenge over on the Stampin' For All Facebook Group.

Botanical Butterfly Stampin' Up!

Pop over to Verity's blog HERE to read more.

Last today is Heather, who blogs at Stamp with Nellie, with this beautiful covered double notebook and pen.

Happiness Blooms Stampin' Up!

Heather has used one of pearlized doilies here - you can get 2 packs of these FREE at the moment as part of Saleabration.

Isn't that just lovely? Do pop over to Heather's blog and read more HERE. Heather has included some very detailed instructions so you could make your own.

And that's another Project Share Project done and dusted.

And if any of those projects have inspired you to do some crafty shopping, don't forget that now is a great time to do so - spend £45 and choose from a whole load of products absolutely FREE - see them all on my post HERE.

Sending Love decorated notebook - video tutorial

Hi there everyone,

As my business gradually gets off the ground, I have been thinking of ways to say "thank you" to any customers who have shopped with me so far. As you know, the monthly shopping code means that anyone who purchases from me during the month (and who uses the code) will receive a gift from me, in the post, the following month. This gift will be something from the current catalogue - maybe a reel of ribbon, a pack of patterned paper, some embellishments etc. But I also like to include a little personal thank you from me in the form of a thank you card (of course) and a little treat. Over the last couple of days I've been busily preparing these notebooks to go out in February, although I've also sent some of these out with new catalogues.

These are little jotter notebooks which I have re-covered and decorated to make them a little bit more special. I was inspired to take some fairly ordinary little notebooks and use the magic of Stampin' Up! to turn them into something special by Sam Hammond (Pootles) - once you've learned how to create a cardstock cover for these notebooks to replace the original, the possibilities for decoration are endless. I followed Sam's tutorial to cover mine but then used my own inspiration to decorate and embellish them.

Two things I really love about this little project. The first is how simple but stylish these are. The other is that it gave me the chance to use up some tiny scraps of whisper white and real red cardstock to die-cut the letters. I am a thrifty crafter at heart!!

I have made a short video tutorial showing how I made these little covered notebooks. I hope you'll take a look and maybe be inspired to try the project for yourself. If you enjoy the video, and would like to see more projects from me, please subscribe to my channel so that you don't miss anything!

As I say in the video, the purchase of the Large Letter Framelit dies would take you almost to the amount you need to spend to earn TWO free Sale-a-Bration items. I really think they are such a good buy. £89 for the set is a lot of money, but they will be used again and again, for years to come, I am sure.

Do pop back tomorrow as I will be be taking part in my first ever blog hop, with other members of the Pootles team - everyone has come up with some fantastic projects to inspire you.

And don't forget to use this month's shopping code - you may receive one of these notebooks in your thank you package!

 See you tomorrow!

Jill
