Cards for men on Stampin' for All Facebook group

Hi everyone,

Today it is my turn over on the Stampin' for All Facebook Group (CLICK HERE TO JOIN US) to set the Design Team challenge for this week. The theme for today's challenge is "Male" - cards and other projects which would be good for any of the men in your life. Here is the card I have made for the challenge.

I really struggle to find themes for cards for the males in my family - none of them are into cars, or fishing, or sailing etc. So I tend to go with things like typography or geometric patterns. My card uses the big "Happy Birthday" greeting from the "One For All" stamp set. I heat embossed the greeting in gold on Very Vanilla card stock  and then layered it up with Blueberry Bushel and gold foil. The background is one of the papers from the Best Route DSP pack.

I'm not sure you can see the shiny gold embossing on the photos above so I took this one which catches the light.

I will miss this stamp set when it retires - it has several really useful images. And that big Happy Birthday is my favourite.

Pootlers Team Saleabration Blog Hop

Hello everyone,

How fun is that?

I used the FREE fun frog stamp set - "So Hoppy Together". This has proved to be a popular choice with my customers.

Did you spot that I had to cut one of the stamps apart to make my card? Yes, that unicylcling frog has lost his unicycle!! If I need to, though, it is no problem to put he two parts of the stamp together again on the clear block.
