The Project Share Project - April 7th

Hi everyone,

Welcome to another Thursday and the Project Share Project where I get to showcase projects made by some of my crafty friends. Today I have chosen three wonderful projects for you, beginning with Verity of Inky Butterfly who has made this lovely card, using a set - Positive Thoughts - which will be retiring in less than a month.

Hop over to Verity's blog to see the details about her card by CLICKING HERE.

Next is Heather of Stamp with Nellie. Heather has used the In Symmetry stamp set and the Plenty of Patterns Decorative Masks to make her card. This is another set I must use again before it retires!

Pop over to Heather's blog by CLICKING HERE.

And last for today is Gez. Gez has been getting organised VERY early by making Christmas cards! Such a great use of the Simply Elegant DSP.

You can read all about Gez's project over on her blog by CLICKING HERE.

And that is another Project Share complete. I can't believe how quickly these weeks come round! Do join me again next Thursday for more inspiration from these wonderful ladies!

How to make a matching envelope

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. On Saturday, my good friend Gez and I did our regular Facebook live crafting session over in our Facebook group and this is the card I made.

At the time, I said I would be back to show you how to make a custom sized envelope and so here I am today to do that.

IMPORTANT NOTE: In the video I made an error with one of the measurements. The piece of cardstock at the beginning should measure 24cm x 27cm - not 26cm as I said on the video.

To see my video you can watch by CLICKING HERE or on the image below.

Bye for now, back soon,

Jill & Gez Go Crafting - August 16th

Hi everyone,

Welcome to another "Jill and Gez Go Crafting" when myself and my good friend Gez give each other a bit of exposure on our blogs.

Gez has an amazing blog with loads of fabulous inspiration and really detailed tutorials - just hop over to https://www.nigezza.co.uk/. And also a brilliant YouTube channel which you can view HERE

Today I am starting with a lovely card that Gez made for a colour challenge, using the Very Versailles and Positive Thoughts sets. The colours for the challenge were
Gorgeous Grape, Bermuda Bay & Gray Granite.

Pop over to Gez's blog to see how she made it by CLICKING HERE.

Next is this pretty Christmas card using the Penguin Playmates patterned papers. Those little characters are so cute!

Lastly for today, these are some of the cards Gez made last weekend for our live crafting session. These are so pretty - I hadn't noticed how well the new Be Dazzling papers coordinate with the Simply Elegant papers, but they do, don't they?

Hope you've enjoyed seeing Gez's projects today and that you'll pop over to see her fabulous blog. I'll be back with more from Gez in two weeks!

My favourite projects from 2020 - Part 2

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog today. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Following on from yesterday's post, today I am bringing you my picks of my favourite projects from the last 6 months of 2020.

Going back to July, I once again used the Small Bloom Punch to make this clean and simple card. Read more by CLICKING HERE

That brings us to August. Usually a time for lots of weddings but of course everything was disrupted this year. But for some friends who did manage to tie the knot, albeit in a very different way to originally planned, I made this card with the Stitched Be Mine dies. Read more by CLICKING HERE

In September, I made all my customers these matching cards and gifts with the Lovely You stamp set. Another very quick and easy project but great result! Read more by CLICKING HERE.

In October, I featured this card which was made specially for my lovely daughter, Jess, and her fiance Louis who sadly had to cancel their wedding this year. I sent them this card to open on the day that should have been their wedding. Read more by CLICKING HERE.

Nearly at the end now. For November I am choosing this card. I have really loved making cards and other projects with the Nothing's Better Than stamp set and this card is one of my favourites. Read more by CLICKING HERE.

And here we are in December. Of course this month isn't quite finished yet but still, I have chosen this card for this month. Not really my clean and simple signature style this one, but sometimes it is good to stretch our boundaries! Read more by CLICKING HERE.

And there we are - my year in 12 projects. Hope you've enjoyed revisiting these cards etc.

Now time for me to put away all my Christmas and retiring stamp sets and start playing with new products from the Spring/Summer mini catalogue.

Copies are already on their way to anyone who has shopped with me in the past 6 months. Don't forget, if you'd like me to pop a copy in the post for you as well, just let me know. The sales period for the catalogue begins on January 5th.

Please come back to see me soon. Meanwhile, have a great day.

Bye for now, back soon,
