The Project Share Project - March 23rd

Hi everyone,

Welcome to another Thursday and the Project Share Project where I get to showcase projects made by some of my crafty friends. Today I have chosen three wonderful projects for you, beginning with Verity of Inky Butterfly who has made this great card for a colour challenge. The set she has used is called Queen Bee and the colours for the challenge were Blushing Bride, Pale Papaya and Crushed Curry.

I love the background Verity has created here. Hop over to her blog to see all the details by CLICKING HERE.

Next is Heather of Stamp with Nellie who has also made a card for a colour challenge. This time the colours were Smoky Slate, Old Olive and Blackberry Bliss. To make her card Heather has used the Simply Fabulous set.

I love the simplicity of this card - Simply Fabulous is one of my favourite current sets.

And last for today is Gez of Nigezza Creates. Gez is currently off on holiday in Turks & Caicos in the Caribbean - not that I am jealous or anything! Anyway, before she left she made this fabulous little gift box with the Dry Brushed Metallic Speciality DSP.

You can read all about Gez's project over on her blog by CLICKING HERE.

And that is another Project Share complete. I can't believe how quickly these weeks come round! Do join me again next Thursday for more inspiration from these wonderful ladies!

THe Project Share Project - Sept 8th

Hi everyone,

Welcome to another Thursday and the Project Share Project where I get to showcase projects made by some of my crafty friends. Today I have chosen three wonderful projects for you.

Verity of Inky Butterfly has made this lovely card with the Color and Contour stamp set. This set has been in the Annual Catalogue for a while now and it is so easy to forget these older sets but Verity is reminding us how lovely it is!

Verity has also made a slightly different version in a different colour but you'll need to hop over to her blog to see that one, by CLICKING HERE

Heather of Stamp with Nellie has used the Simply Fabulous for her card. And it lives up to the name - her card is simply fabulous!

You can pop over to Heather's blog to read more about her card by CLICKING HERE.

Gez of Nigezza Creates has now made a gorgeous card which matches the box she made which I showed you a few weeks ago. Loving this red (Cherry Cobbler) and gold colour combination.

Did you wonder where I'd gone?

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Have you been wondering where I've been? You may have noticed that my posts and videos have been rather sparse and sporadic recently. Some of you might know from my personal Facebook page that just over two weeks my husband had an accident on his bicycle and ended up spending a week in hospital. He is now recovering nicely but it was pretty scary at the time - multiple injuries both internal and external. And with daily trips to visit him in a hospital that was around an hour away, my time (and motivation) to craft was severely curtailed.

Anyway, I am now back and hopefully there will be no more dramas to get in the way of me and my blog.

Anyway, onto today's project. Today I am bringing you a video tutorial for the card I shared last Sunday, using the Simply Fabulous stamp set.

This is a fairly #simplestamping project - just cardstock, ink and stamps needed. Oh and a little strip of our new Masking Paper. Here is the version I made in the video.

On this one I used the "Happy Birthday" from another new set - Celebrate with Tags.

Here are both cards together - do you have a favourite?
