"HELLO" card with Textures and Frames

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. A while ago I showed you this card here on my blog.

Today I am bringing you the video tutorial to show you how I made it. Unusually for me, I am using a stamp set that is now retired. Textures and Frames was one of the free sets available during the last Saleabration, but has since been discontinued. But I still wanted to show this card. As I say on the video, you may be able to find one for sale second hand. 

Anyway, here is the second version of the card, the one I make on the video.

As you can see, I reverted back to favourite colours - a selection of Brights (with a couple of In Colors!)

Jill and Gez Go Crafting - September 27th

Hi everyone,

Welcome to another "Jill and Gez Go Crafting" when myself and my good friend Gez give each other a bit of exposure on our blogs.

As I type this, Gez and I have just returned from a fabulous team crafting weekend. So much fun! And great to meet up with Gez in person. We had lots of laughs! 

Anyway, onto today's projects, starting with these gorgeous little pillow boxes, which Gez made as her swaps for the crafty weekend retreat we just attended. They are so cute and of course I was lucky enough to receive one.

Ink Stamp Share September Blog Hop - Colour Challenge

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Today it is time once again for the Ink Stamp Share monthly blog hop.

For September our theme is a colour challenge and we were asked to use three, if not four or all of the following colours: Soft Succulent, Soft Sea Foam, Petal Pink, Polished Pink and Rich Razzleberry.

                        

I decided to use all five colours for my card, using the FREE Saleabration set Textures and Frames to stamp a circle in each one.

I die cut the letters for "hello" from the Playful Alphabet dies in black card (we were allowed to use a neutral as weell as the focus colours). 

Hope you like my card. As usual I will bring you a video for this card very soon - do pop back to see it.
