Happy Easter card - 3D Paper Trimmer March Blog Hop

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog today. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Today I am taking part in the 3D Paper trimmer Blog Hop and our theme is "Happy Easter".

I used the little eggs from Arrange a Wreath, arranged in a basket from A Basket of Blooms for my card.

I started with a card blank of Highland Heather and made layers of Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green. I used one of the Stitched with Whimsy Dies to make the wiggly stitched border around my Basic White panel. The die cut Happy Easter message is cut from the Word Wishes dies.

Here is a close up of my basket of eggs. I used dimensionals to give the collection of eggs a bit more dimension.

And of course I had to do a little bit of stamping inside my card!

I hope you like my card. Please come back next week to see my video tutorial (you can sign up over on the right to get email notifications whenever I post on here).
But for today, I do hope you'll carry on hopping around all the blogs taking part today. Next up is Sigrid Joch - you won't want to miss her amazing project!

Thanks for joining me today. Bye for now, back soon,

Jill & Gez Go Crafting - December 21st

Hi everyone,

Welcome to another "Jill and Gez Go Crafting" when myself and my good friend Gez give each other a bit of exposure on our blogs.
Gez has an amazing blog with loads of fabulous inspiration and really detailed tutorials - just hop over to https://www.nigezza.co.uk/. And also a brilliant YouTube channel which you can view HERE

Well, the end of the year-  here we are with our last Jill & Gez of 2020. And what a year it has been! To close off the year I thought I would feature three of my favourite projects of Gez from the past 12 months. I have featured these before but they deserve a second viewing!

I am beginning with this amazing rainbow card that Gez made for our team leader when she hit her Million sales target. And how clever was the way she cut up words from the "Words Wishes" dies to create the word "Congratulations".

You can read more about this card and watch the video over on Gez's blog by CLICKING HERE.

Next I have chosen this fabulous graduation card. I love the clean and simple look of this card and also how unusual it is. A great way to send a well done to any scholar!

Lastly for today, I have chosen a gift box. Gez makes many boxes and bags but this one is a particular favourite of mine. I had resisted buying the So Many Snowflakes dies up to this point but as soon as I saw this box I knew I had to have them!

Read and watch all about how Gez made it by CLICKING HERE.

Hope you've enjoyed revisiting these projects today and that you'll pop over to see Gez's fabulous blog. I'll be back with more from Gez in two weeks - we'll be in 2021 by then. Let's hope it is better than 2020!

Bye for now,

The Project Share Project - Feb 13th

Hi everyone,

Welcome to another Thursday and the Project Share Project where I get to showcase projects made by some of my crafty friends.

Today I have chosen three wonderful projects for you, beginning with Verity of Inky Butterfly Look at this perfect card that Verity has made.

Thoughtful Blooms and Small Bloom Punch Saleabration

I absolutely love everything about this card. It is just my style - very clean and simple. And look at all that white space. Add to that the perfect greeting mounted on that fabulous label die cut and you have a wonderful card.

Hop over to Verity's blog to see the details about her card by CLICKING HERE.

Next is Heather of Stamp with Nellie. Heather has used the the Mosaic Mood DSP to create this little wallet to hold a bath tea bag (no, I had never heard of them either!).

Mosaic Mood teabag holder Stampin Up

This little wallet would be perfect as a little gift to give someone special. And I love how Heather has layered the rose on the front.

Pop over to Heather's blog to read more about how to make it by CLICKING HERE.

And last for today is Gez. For this project Gez has stepped outside of her comfort zone and has tried some water-colouring - and what a great job she has made of it on this card. Gez has used the Word Wishes dies for her message on this card.

Painted Poppies Stampin Up

You can read all about Gez's project, and watch her creating the card on video,  over on her blog HERE.

And that is another Project Share complete. I can't believe how quickly these weeks come round! Do join me again next Thursday for more inspiration from these wonderful ladies!
