Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. It is time once again for the InspireInk monthly blog hop and for June our theme is "One Sheet Wonder".
If you've never come across that term before it is a technique used to create a set of several cards from just one sheet of patterned paper (or DSP!). It is a great way to create a whole heap of cards in a flash. For my One Sheet Wonder today, I used a 12" x 12" sheet of patterned paper from the You're a Peach DSP pack (pg 134 in the Annual catalogue). Just a heads up, if you are a DSP lover, we have a very special offer coming up in July!
In all, as you can see, I managed to make 11 cards from my one sheet of paper along with 6 sheets of card stock and a few scraps to do the punching and diecuts.
The colours in the DSP include Pear Pizzazz, Calypso Coral and Petal Pink so I decided to use those colours along with, of course, Basic White.
Apart from the DSP and cardstock, all I needed to complete my cards were some diecut stitched scallop borders for which I used a die from the Penned Flowers dies, the Double Oval punch, the Vine Design stamp set for the sentiments and a couple of inkpads in Pear Pizzazz and Calypso Coral.
These were really quick to make. I hope you might feel inspired to have a go!.
