The Project Share Project - Week 22

Hi everyone,

Welcome to another Thursday and the Project Share Project where I get to showcase projects made by some of my crafty friends. And let me introduce you to the team. From the left that's me, Verity, Gez, Heather and Helzie.
Once again, I have four fabulous projects from these wonderful ladies for you today.

And first up today is Gez of Nigezza Creates. I had to include this card as it was made for me for my recent "significant" birthday! Although normally I'm a clean and simple girl and tend to go for more subtle colours, I LOVE this card!!
So sad that the Large Letter dies are retiring next week - I will be hlding onto mine to continue using them!

Next today is Verity of Inky Butterfly. Verity has made this beautiful card using the same stamp set as Gez and the "Bouquet Bunch" dies - I am so pleased that these products are carrying over into the new catalogue. Verity's card is so bright and sunny!

Helzie of Slimm and Stylish is showcasing some products from the new upcoming catalogue in her card today. The suite she has used is called "Perennial Essence" and the stamp set is "Floral Essence". I already have that set and I love it!

Broadway Bound birthday card

Hi there,

Thanks for joining me again. Today I have a really simple little project for you but it still has an "wow" factor - at least I think so. This was the birthday card I made for my niece who was 19 on Christmas Eve.

Broadway Bound, Happy birthday thinlits die, Stampin Up

This card was very simply a Basic Black square card blank, a layer of patterned paper (I used Broadway Bound) and a diecut - I just cut our Happy Birthday thinlit die out of our Gold Foil sheet.

This was just perfect in the run up to Christmas when I was so busy - a quick and easy card was definitely called for! The patterned paper I used was our Broadway Bound Speciality Designer Series Paper. This is a pack of beautiful papers which are foiled in shiny gold on one side and have brightly coloured birthday patterns on the reverse. They are so useful for celebration cards and other projects.

I'm not sure you can see the gold foil very clearly in the photos above so here is one where I've really tried to catch the light.

Along with the card I made a small box with one of the other papers for a small gift and also a gift money wallet. So great to be able to produce this set of coordinating card and gifts so easily!

If you want to add the Broadway Bound papers to our wishlist, don't forget that at the moment you can choose a free product of you spend £45. See all the products you can choose from by clicking "Saleabration" in my shop HERE.

I'll be back soon with a video tutorial showing you how I made the gift wallet - watch out for that!

Part 3 of Christmas advent calendar with Stampin' Up! products

Hi there everyone,

I hope you've been enjoying my little mini series on how to make this gorgeous advent calendar:

Today's final video tutorial shows you how to create the numbers, using the "Make a Difference" stamp set to finish off the calendar. Here is a close up of some of the numbers:

As you can see, I used the contrasting colour card stock to punch out scallop circles with the 1 1/8" scallop circle punch and, after stamping the numbers on white card, I punched them out with the 1" circle punch.

Here is the video showing how I stamped the numbers, building them up with the individual numbers from the stamp set. Either click HERE on on the image below:

And there we are, finished! You have nearly three weeks left of November to get yours completed!

As you read this, I will be newly returned from the Stampin' Up! Bi-Annual convention called On Stage. Over 500 Stampin' Up! demos in one place, all ridiculously excited about the new forthcoming Spring/Summer catalogue (along with Sale-a-bration of course!)

Lots more about that soon. Til then, have a great day,
