Beautiful Bouquet and Bouquet Bunch Retrospective

Hi everyone,

In amongst all the excitement about the release of the new catalogue in June, we were able to see the list of all the products from the current catalogue which will be retiring. This is always a sad moment for me - there are always some of my favourites on the list. And being a business demo, I tend to only craft with current products so often my favourites end up unused and discarded. This time I was dismayed to see that one of my all time favourite stamp sets, along with the coordinating dies was going. The Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and coordinating Bouquet Bunch dies. So I thought I would allow myself to reminisce about some of my favourite projects made with these products. Before I start though, just to let you know, the dies are currently heavily discounted - £11.20 instead of £28.00 - what a bargain! But be aware once they are gone, they will not be restocked.

Anyway onto to the projects - in no particular order.

This was one of the first projects I made and I still love it.

This card uses only the die set - no stamps needed!

Wow! Such a fancy fold card for me! A double Z fold!! Love the colours.

And another fancy fold!

Getting a bit arty on this one. Inspired by a Pin on Pinterest.

What I loved best about the stamp set was how it made #simplestamping so easy!

And it was great for decorating the inside of cards and envelopes.

More #simplestamping.

Another one of my favourites.

Here I have used one of the sentiments and some die cut foliage.

More #simplestamping.

Beautiful bouquet of tulips. Stamp set lives up to it's name.

And of course the two cards I made most recently.

Hope you enjoyed that journey through some previous projects.

Have a great day,

EDITED AFTER WRITING: I wrote this post a few days ago. Since then it appears the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set has sold out. The dies are still available. If you are wishing you had managed to buy the stamp set, please get in touch - I have a spare set which I will be allowed to sell after June 2nd.

Grab some bargains while you can! Going, going, gone!

Hi everyone,

I wonder if you've had a chance to have a quick look at all the retiring products on the lists which were released on Wednesday evening? As I said at the time, as demos, we had no advance notice of whether there would be any discounts on any products but I am happy to say there are. And quite big discounts at that - up to 60% in some cases. I thought I would bring together my top ten of my favourite products which are now even better value for money. Starting with a couple of our all-inclusive kits:

Notes of Kindness Stampin Up

The Notes of Kindness kit is now only £13.20 - amazing value and would be so useful now to make a whole pile of thank you cards to send out to key workers who are all helping deal with this crisis.

And those of you who have followed me for a while will know that the Lots of Happy kit is my all time favourite.

And then there are some great value stamp sets. The Easter Promise set would be a great one to have in your stash in preparation for next Easter. And would also make great cards generally for spring. At only £7.20 who could say no?

And if you want to get organised really early for Christmas then you can't go wrong with the Merry Christmas to All stamp set.

There are coordinating dies to go with this set - "Merry Christmas dies" - but these have not been discounted.

Next a nice summery set - Daisy Delight - this set coordinates with the Daisy punch which is still in the catalogue.

Two other products I am really excited about are the Darling Label Punch Box

And the Botanical Prints Product Medley - such a huge discount for a whole heap of product!

And lastly three sets of dies which all coordinate with retiring stamp sets, which at the point of writing are still available.

The Bouquet Bunch dies coordinate with the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and these together have been my absolute favourite for a couple of years.

I made some great Christmas cards with the Detailed Deer dies and coordinating Dashing Deer stamp set.

And the Lakeside dies and Lilypad Lake stamps have been my go to set for male cards for a good while now.

Oh and I just noticed also that the fabulous "Thank You" die is 60% off - yes, I know that's now 11!! Must stop now but I could go on - do pop over to my shop and have a look for yourself!

You can see everything that is retiring by popping into my online shop HERE. Just to warn you there are some items that are on the list but will not actually be retiring but are being reconfigured - either the packaging is being updated or they are now being made by a different supplier.

I have also linked the products featured above, alongside their coordinating products, below.

Take care, stay safe,

The Project Share Project - Week 22

Hi everyone,

Welcome to another Thursday and the Project Share Project where I get to showcase projects made by some of my crafty friends. And let me introduce you to the team. From the left that's me, Verity, Gez, Heather and Helzie.
Once again, I have four fabulous projects from these wonderful ladies for you today.

And first up today is Gez of Nigezza Creates. I had to include this card as it was made for me for my recent "significant" birthday! Although normally I'm a clean and simple girl and tend to go for more subtle colours, I LOVE this card!!
So sad that the Large Letter dies are retiring next week - I will be hlding onto mine to continue using them!

Next today is Verity of Inky Butterfly. Verity has made this beautiful card using the same stamp set as Gez and the "Bouquet Bunch" dies - I am so pleased that these products are carrying over into the new catalogue. Verity's card is so bright and sunny!

Helzie of Slimm and Stylish is showcasing some products from the new upcoming catalogue in her card today. The suite she has used is called "Perennial Essence" and the stamp set is "Floral Essence". I already have that set and I love it!
